Craig M. Edwards’ practice is distinctive for its critical interrogation of the overarching structures that govern and construct contemporary British culture and identity. Heavily influenced by Structuralist and Post-Structuralist thinkers he has recently been concerned with exploring the relationship between the city and the countryside through creating thought provoking pieces that juxtapose urban and rural signs.

Craig has studied photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design (Pg Cert) and Goldsmiths College (MA) and is due to begin a PhD in Fine Art. He has contributed to group exhibitions at Charlie Dutton Gallery (2010), APT (2009), VINESpace, Vyner Street (2008), the Mall Galleries (2008), the Old Truman Brewery (2008) and the Village Underground (2006). In 2008 his work was also used on marketing materials by the University of the Arts London and included in the This is Not A Gateway Festival.
